Full job description

Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Qatar

Electrical Engineer with UPDA / QCDD - MEP Company Experience.

Immediate Joining with NOC

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects (LV & MV).
  • Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and material submittals according to project specifications and Kahramaa standards.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment such as panels, transformers, lighting, power, and fire alarm systems.
  • Coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper integration between electrical and other building systems (HVAC, plumbing, smart systems).
  • Perform site inspections to ensure work compliance with drawings, safety, and quality standards.
  • Manage material procurement, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
  • Ensure adherence to Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) and Kahramaa regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during execution.
  • Prepare progress reports and documentation for client and consultant approval.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by MME – Ministry of Municipality & Environment).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP or building services projects in Qatar or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of Kahramaa standards and local authority requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • UPDA Grade (advantage).
  • Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred).

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
