We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team for project-based assignments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design reviews, material definition, construction support, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with Dutch and international standards. Key Responsibilities

Review design documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Verify compliance with Dutch standards (NEN 1010, NEN 3140, NEN-EN-IEC 60079). Provide clarifications and technical input on material selection, installation methods, and interfaces.

Review 3D models to ensure no scope clashes and verify measurements.

Prepare material take-offs (cables, trays, junction boxes, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, earthing, lighting).

Define ATEX/IEC-compliant equipment for hazardous area installations.

Support procurement by reviewing supplier offers for compliance.

Develop installation methodologies and work packages for the electrical scope.

Provide input on manpower estimates, sequencing, and resource allocation.

Support the Site/Construction Manager in planning electrical installation activities.

Define pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements (continuity, insulation resistance, functional tests).

Prepare procedures for FAT/SAT, loop checks, and energization.

Coordinate with the Commissioning Manager for integration into the R Drive completions tool.

Ensure design and execution planning follow ATEX zone classifications and HSE requirements.

Review inspection & test plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards. Coordinate with Instrumentation and Automation engineers for system integration. Provide technical responses to RFIs and support the resolution of engineering queries.

Requirements

Knowledge of Dutch standards (NEN 1010, NEN 3140, NEN-EN-IEC 60079).

Experience with ATEX/IEC-compliant equipment for hazardous areas.

Familiarity with QA/QC, HSE requirements, and ITPs.

Ability to review 3D models, design documentation, and technical specifications. Experience supporting procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
