Position Title: Sales Specialist – Electrification & Projects
Department: Sales – Electrification
Location: Islamabad / Lahore/ Karachi
Reports to: CEO / Manager Sales (as applicable)
Electrification Scope:
Switchgear, power distribution, motor control, drives, and industrial automation solutions.
Role Summary
The Sales Specialist – Electrification & Projects will support and execute technical sales activities for electrification and power products (ABB and partner brands) within assigned territories. The role focuses on project-based selling, technical support, channel coordination, and market execution under the guidance of senior sales leadership.
This position is suited for professionals with a solid technical foundation who are ready to grow into larger sales and account-ownership responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Market Support
- Support sales and business development activities across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Engage with consultants, contractors, EPCs, panel builders, distributors, OEMs, and end customers.
- Assist in identifying new projects, customers, and channel opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Support senior team members in expanding market presence and coverage.
Technical & Solution Support
- Participate in technical discussions with customers related to product selection and applications.
- Support site visits, surveys, and customer meetings as required.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, quotations, and technical submittals in coordination with engineering and internal teams.
- Deliver basic product presentations and support solution-based selling.
Product Portfolio Exposure
- Circuit Breakers: ACBs, MCCBs
- Modular DIN Rail Devices: MCBs, RCCBs, RCDs, ELCBs, SPDs
- Switchgear & Control: Contactors, relays
- Switching Devices: ATS, changeover switches, disconnectors
- Motor Control & Protection: Manual motor starters, protection devices
- Drives & Power Equipment: VFDs, motors, generators
- Industrial automation and control solutions (ABB & partner brands)
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to support order execution and deliveries.
- Maintain basic sales reports, opportunity tracking, and pipeline updates.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market feedback and share insights with the sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or sales support within the electrical, engineering, or industrial sector.
- Basic to intermediate exposure to electrification, switchgear, drives, motor control, or power products.
- Experience working with projects, consultants, contractors, EPCs, panel builders, or channel partners is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Product and solution training will be provided where required.
