Position Title: Technical Sales Specialist – Lighting

Department: Sales – Lighting
Location: Islamabad / Lahore / Karachi
Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO

Lighting Scope:
Professional, architectural, commercial, industrial, retail, outdoor, and sports lighting solutions (Signify / Philips & partner brands).

Role Summary

The Technical Sales Specialist – Lighting will support and execute sales activities for professional lighting solutions across assigned territories. The role focuses on technical sales support, project execution, channel coordination, and customer engagement, working closely with senior sales leadership.

This position is ideal for professionals with solid lighting product knowledge who are ready to grow into larger account and project ownership responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Market Support

  • Support sales of professional and architectural lighting solutions across retail, distribution, and project segments.
  • Engage with retail partners, distributors, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end customers.
  • Assist in identifying new projects and business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Support senior team members in meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Technical & Project Support

  • Participate in technical discussions related to lighting applications, product selection, and system requirements.
  • Support site visits, lighting mockups, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Assist in preparing BOQs, quotations, technical submittals, and compliance documents.
  • Provide application-level guidance aligned with project specifications and energy-efficiency standards.

Channel & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with retail partners, distributors, and project stakeholders for order execution.
  • Support interactions with consultants, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
  • Assist in managing OEMs, system integrators, and (where applicable) Government / Institutional accounts.
  • Support pricing coordination, approvals, and follow-ups in line with company policy.

Reporting & Market Feedback

  • Maintain basic sales activity reports, opportunity tracking, and pipeline updates.
  • Share market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and emerging lighting trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or sales support within professional lighting or electrical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of lighting products, applications, and project-based sales environments.
  • Exposure to retail, distribution, project, OEM, or institutional sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and customer-handling skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
  • Product and application training will be provided.
