Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer with strong AutoCAD/MicroStation drafting skills to support the development of construction drawings for power and utility-related projects. This role combines engineering judgment with technical drafting expertise to produce accurate, construction-ready design packages.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of power systems fundamentals, is familiar with engineering design standards, and can independently prepare and review drawings in AutoCAD/MicroStation.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Design

• Develop construction drawings for power system and utility projects.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure designs meet technical and safety requirements.
• Interpret project specifications, design standards, and engineering calculations.
• Support layout development, equipment placement, routing, and system detailing.

Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details using AutoCAD/MicroStation.
• Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and markups into finalized design packages.
• Revise drawings based on internal reviews and client feedback.
• Maintain organized documentation and drawing revision control.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable design standards and company guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of power system fundamentals in preparing accurate designs.
• Assist in maintaining drawing quality and technical consistency across projects.

Coordination

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Support project timelines by delivering accurate and timely drawing packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with engineering design standards and drafting practices.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of power systems and electrical distribution concepts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation.
