Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer with experience in fit-out projects in the U.A.E., specializing in the design, coordination, execution, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for commercial, residential, retail, and interior fit-out developments. Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, with strong expertise in HVAC system design and heat-load calculations to ensure efficient and optimized system performance. Skilled in coordinating MEP services, authority submissions, and ensuring compliance with Dubai regulations and local authority standards. Experienced in working closely with consultants, contractors, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective projects within schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Designated Responsibilities / Scope of Work:

* Prepare and review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects.

* Perform HVAC design and heat-load calculations to determine cooling requirements and optimize system efficiency.

* Design and coordinate HVAC ducting layouts, ventilation systems, and air distribution systems.

* Prepare technical drawings and detailed layouts using CAD software and other engineering design tools.

* Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with architectural and structural disciplines to avoid clashes.

* Conduct site inspections and supervise installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

* Ensure all MEP works comply with Dubai authority regulations, local codes, and project requirements.

* Coordinate authority submissions and approvals with relevant local authorities and consultants.

* Monitor project progress, quality standards, and work schedules to ensure timely project completion.

* Review material submittals and technical specifications for project requirements.

* Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for completed MEP systems.

* Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
