Job Description: Site Supervisor / Installation Team Leader – Home Automation
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Supervisor / Installation Team Leader to oversee our home automation installation projects. This role requires a strong electrical engineering background, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to lead and guide installation teams on-site. You will ensure that all installations meet our quality standards, project timelines, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the installation team during on-site execution of home automation systems.
- Review, interpret, and implement electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and architectural plans.
- Coordinate daily site activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Perform and oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of smart home and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, installation guidelines, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients regarding site progress and technical requirements.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure all installations meet the required technical and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare site reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to improve team performance and technical capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven electrical engineering experience, including installation, troubleshooting, and understanding of electrical drawings and diagrams.
- Very fluent English communication skills—both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or coordinating technical teams.
- Solid understanding of electrical tools, wiring methods, and installation best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on active job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home automation, smart home systems, or low-voltage installations.
- Familiarity with KNX, Zigbee, Wi-Fi automation systems, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of project documentation, site reporting, and commissioning procedures.
- Valid UAE driving license is a must
