Electronics Technician

We are seeking an experienced Textiles Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and maintaining electronic equipment.

The role will involve working with various automation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs). Additional tasks will include performing preventative maintenance inspections and conducting Power Factor Correction (PFC) tests.

We prefer candidates with a DAE in Electrical or Electronics and several years of professional experience as an electronics technician, particularly within manufacturing environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Interpret and work with PLCs and HMIs for automation tasks.

- Install and program electronic equipment, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.

- Install, replace, and configure VFDs.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

- DAE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related components.

- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving electrical and electronic issues.

- Knowledge of motor rewinding is a plus.
