ELV Pre Sales Engineer

Doha, Qatar

  • Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop appropriate ELV solutions (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, networking, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations for clients.
  • Design system architecture, prepare BOQs, proposals, compliance statements, and technical submittals.
  • Liaise with suppliers/vendors to obtain technical and commercial offers.
  • Provide technical support during client meetings, tender preparation, and bidding process.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with local regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys when necessary and prepare site survey reports.
  • Support the project team during the handover from sales to execution.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for project execution requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pre-sales/design of ELV systems, especially CCTV & security systems.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV (IP/Analog), NVRs, DVRs, Access Control, Video Analytics, and Networking.
  • Familiarity with brands such as Hikvision, Axis, Dahua, Milestone, Honeywell, etc.
  • Experience in reading drawings, schematics, and preparing AutoCAD layouts (advantage).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals (e.g., MOI/PSBD/QCD if in GCC).
