Email Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Email Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot email-related issues, and ensure seamless communication services for clients. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for email systems, accounts, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, connectivity, and security.
• Assist clients with account setup, password recovery, and system navigation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s IT and data security regulations.
• Prepare reports on support activities and recommend system improvements.
• Deliver training and guidance to clients on email system usage and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical support, preferably with email systems.
• Strong knowledge of email platforms (Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, IMAP/SMTP protocols).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and spam filtering tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are an advantage.
