Engineer Compliance & Safety Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Compliance & Safety Officer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting our Technical Compliance Manager in maintaining the highest engineering and maintenance standards for our fleet.

The Engineer Compliance & Safety Officer (EC&SO) is responsible for monitoring engineering standards and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements. Key duties include managing MLOSA , assisting with CAPA and root cause analysis and assisting with Risk Assessments and Management of Change (MOC) for ongoing operations. The role involves assisting with Airworthiness Review Certification (ARC) documentation and responding to SMS reports. Additionally, the EC&SO provides technical guidance to the engineering team, participates in safety investigations, and ensures all maintenance activities align with company policies and international safety regulations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a Graduate Degree in a related field (Essential) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
• 10+ years of engineering experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Extensive experience with rotary wing aircraft.
• Must be an Approved Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA, EASA, and FAA regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and aviation software like RUSADA.
• English proficiency (minimum ELP level 5).
• High proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain flexible and "on call" to resolve critical technical issues as they arise.
