As a Software Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle — from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of SaaS-based products, multi-tenant architecture, and modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support team members’ career growth.
  • Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of systems.
  • Manage resource planning, workload distribution, and project timelines.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical strategy.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where relevant.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Assist in hiring, recruiting, and onboarding software engineers to build a strong and capable team.

Requirements

  • University Degree or Equivalent
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in software development and 4+ years of experience in leadership role.
  • Experience in Workforce Management solutions is an added advantage.
