Engineering Specialist

Job Description:


  • Provide on-site full-process engineering technical support for wind farm O&M, technical renovation and equipment maintenance; follow up daily defect elimination, fault troubleshooting and special engineering implementation of wind turbines.
  • Review on-site construction plans and technical operation disclosures; control the full-process engineering safety and compliance of hoisting, large component replacement and high-altitude operations.
  • Solve sudden on-site technical problems of mechanical, electrical control and hydraulic systems to ensure stable operation and power generation of wind turbine units.
  • Collect unit operation data and establish engineering hidden danger ledgers; compile daily/weekly engineering reports and technical acceptance documents for completed renovation works.
  • Implement wind power safety regulations and grid connection technical standards, supervise standardized on-site construction, and rectify common engineering quality problems and non-standard operations.
  • Cooperate with the project department to control engineering progress, complete final acceptance and document filing; conduct technical communication and answer inquiries for the owner.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, New Energy, Wind Power Engineering, Automation or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of practical on-site experience in onshore/offshore wind power engineering, operation and maintenance, and technical renovation; familiar with the structure and control system of mainstream wind turbine models.
  • Proficient in the whole on-site process of wind turbine large component replacement, regular inspection and defect elimination, and wind farm technical renovation; able to independently handle sudden on-site engineering technical faults.
  • Familiar with wind power industry safety operation specifications, grid connection standards and engineering acceptance codes; capable of on-site construction management and quality control.
  • Proficient in office software; able to independently prepare construction plans, technical disclosures, engineering ledgers and acceptance filing documents.
  • Able to work long-term on-site at wind farms and travel frequently; adaptable to outdoor field work, hard-working and strong in pressure resistance.
  • Good communication and execution ability; able to efficiently coordinate with the owner and cross-functional teams to ensure full closed-loop delivery of engineering tasks.
  • Hold valid wind power operation and maintenance professional certificates; candidates with complete machine manufacturer engineering experience are preferred.
