Enrollment Specialist – Health Insurance Agency (Dallas, TX)

About the Role
We are a boutique national health insurance agency based in Dallas, TX, specializing in Affordable Care Act (Marketplace) health plans. We pride ourselves on providing personalized, high-touch service to individuals and families across multiple states. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will work directly with the agency owner to assist clients through the health plan selection and enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct phone and virtual consultations with clients to review Marketplace plan options and determine eligibility.
• Complete accurate and compliant enrollments through marketplaces.
• Follow up with clients regarding verifications, documentation, and premium payments.
• Maintain up-to-date client notes and statuses in our CRM system.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, professional, and solutions-oriented approach.
• Support the owner with administrative and operational tasks related to client management and open enrollment activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in health insurance (Marketplace, ACA, or Medicare) strongly preferred.
• Licensed Health Insurance Agent preferred, but not required for initial hire (must be willing to obtain license).
• Strong communication and people skills — must be comfortable speaking with diverse populations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and organizational habits.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working in CRM systems, call platforms, and virtual office environments.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Remote or hybrid position (Dallas area preferred).
• Flexible schedule outside of Open Enrollment, with extended hours during Open Enrollment season.
• Training and ongoing support provided directly by the agency owner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
