Position Overview

We are a growing landscaping company seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Estimator to play a key role in our continued growth. This role is essential to meeting our goals in growing our sales/ project pipeline, allowing ownership and field leadership to focus on operations, clients and quality craftsmanship.

The Estimator will support our estimating and business development efforts by helping prepare bids, track project opportunities and nurture relationships with our recurring clientele. This role is ideal for someone early in their career and is interested in learning the construction estimating process from the ground up.

Over time, this role has the potential to grow into managing our estimating department and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating Support

Assist with preparing landscape construction bids

Review construction plans and specifications

Coordinate with our estimating team to develop accurate estimates

Track bid submissions and results

Assist with bid follow-ups and correspondence from clients

Business Development

Visit clients’ offices

Introduce Wright Landscaping and build relationships

Help maintain relationships with existing clients

Project Tracking

Maintain customer database

Track upcoming projects and bidding opportunities

Help manage the company’s pipeline of potential projects

Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Construction experience preferred

Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Business, Finance or related fields is a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to read construction plans (or willingness to learn)

Self-motivated and eager to learn

Valid driver’s license

Compensation

Full-time, salaried position

$45,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on experience. PTO included

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
