Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Purpose:


The HSE Manager is responsible for leading, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems for ESP-related activities in compliance with Contract requirements, Company HSE standards, and applicable regulations. The role is dedicated to supporting ESP work at well sites and facilities, ensuring safe execution of operations through effective leadership, audits, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities :


  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Contractor’s HSE Management System for all ESP-related activities in accordance with Contract requirements and Company HSE standards.
  • Ensure that ESP operations at well sites and facilities are executed safely, in compliance with approved HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Implement HSE plans and ensure closure of findings arising from HSE audits, inspections, and assessments.
  • Provide continuous HSE advice, guidance, and support to Contractor personnel working at well sites and facilities.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture by coaching field personnel, supervisors, and management on safe work practices and hazard control.
  • Prepare and submit HSE reports, performance statistics, and compliance documentation as required by the Company.
  • Act as the focal point for HSE-related communication between the Contractor and the Company.


Required Skills and Qualif i cations:


  • Minimum of ten years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within oil and gas operations. and minimum of two years in a leading role as Head of an HSE Department or equivalent.
  • Proven experience and competency related specifically to ESP operations.
  • Candidate must be a certified holder of NEBOSH international technical certificate in oil and gas operational safety or NEBOSH diploma in occupational health and safety.
