Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Estimation and Planning Engineer to join our team.

The Estimation and Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, project schedules, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective execution in compliance with contract requirements and UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions and commercial proposals.
• Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare baseline programs, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Assist project managers in budget control and cost monitoring.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams for planning inputs.
• Maintain estimation and planning records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in estimation and planning for construction or industrial projects.
• Experience in oil & gas, storage tanks, pipelines, warehouses, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project scheduling techniques.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and project documentation standards.

Key Skills

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Excellent knowledge of quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Good understanding of contract conditions and BOQ preparation.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and time management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
