Job Summary:

The Pricing Specialist (Procurement-Focused) is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive pricing for diesel generators, electrical panels, and related components. The role works closely with the procurement, engineering, and sales teams to obtain supplier quotations, analyze costs, and develop pricing strategies that support profitable sales while remaining competitive in the market.

This position requires strong knowledge of generator components, electrical equipment pricing, supplier sourcing, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing and Cost Analysis

• Prepare detailed costing and pricing sheets for diesel generators, control panels, ATS panels, and related accessories
• Analyze bill of materials (BOM) and calculate product cost including components, labor, logistics, and overhead
• Develop competitive pricing strategies for tenders, quotations, and projects
• Maintain updated pricing databases for generator components and electrical equipment

Procurement Coordination

• Request and evaluate supplier quotations for engines, alternators, control panels, switchgear, and other generator components
• Compare supplier prices, lead times, and technical specifications
• Work closely with the procurement to negotiate favorable pricing with vendors
• Monitor market price fluctuation for key components

Technical Support for Sales

• Assist the sales team by providing accurate cost estimates and quotation pricing
• Ensure pricing aligns with technical specifications and project requirements
• Support tender preparation and large project proposals

Supplier and Cost Database Management

• Maintain records of approved suppliers and component cost.
• Update cost sheets for:
• Engines
• Alternators
• Control panels
• ATS Panels
• Switchgears
• Accessories and Materials

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare pricing reports and cost analysis for management review
• Ensure all pricing calculations follow company profit margin guidelines
• Maintain documentation for audit and financial tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in pricing, procurement, or cost estimation, preferably in diesel generators, electrical panels, or power equipment industry.
• Experience working with generator components, switchgear, or electrical assemblies is highly preferred.
• Strong cost analysis and pricing strategy skills
• Knowledge of diesel generators, electrical panels, and power equipment
• Excellent negotiation and supplier coordination skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for pricing models and cost calculations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under deadlines for quotations and tenders
• Must be Arabic speaking and fluent in English language
