Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

SPEEDFORCE DIGITAL is hiring an Estimation Engineer with strong experience in LV electrical panel manufacturing—both type-tested (IEC 61439, ASTA, SEC) and non type-tested systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial offers, BOQs, material take-offs, and coordinating with suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project drawings, single-line diagrams, scope of work, and specifications

- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for Type-Tested and Non Type-Tested panels including:
* MDB, SMDB, MCC, ATS, PFC/Capacitor Banks, Synchronization Panels, PLC/Control Panels

- Prepare BOQ, material take-off, load schedules, and component selection

- Obtain pricing from suppliers (Schneider, ABB, Siemens, Eaton, local fabricated enclosures, etc.)

- Ensure compliance with IEC, SEC, ARAMCO, and consultant standards

- Coordinate with sales and design teams for technical and commercial submissions

- Follow up with clients for clarifications and offer approvals

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

- Minimum 2–3 years experience in estimation of electrical panels (Type-Tested & Non Type-Tested)

- Strong knowledge of panel design, SLDs, panel components, protection devices, busbar sizing, etc.

- Good understanding of IEC 61439, Type Testing procedures, and SEC standards

- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD / EPLAN (added advantage)

- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
