Estimation Engineer

Job Description

Atovee is looking for a Junior Estimator with basic to intermediate experience in structural steel estimation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Tekla Structures, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation for steel fabrication and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs for structural steel projects
• Assist in cost estimation and BOQ preparation
• Use Tekla Structures for model-based quantity extraction
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Coordinate with production and project teams for accurate data
• Support senior estimators during tender submissions

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience or strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection
• Basic knowledge of estimation, BOQs, and take-offs
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred:

• UAE experience in steel fabrication projects
• Familiarity with shop drawings and fabrication processes
