Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural steel and civil works, with proven expertise in preparing accurate project cost estimates, quotations, and tenders. The role involves close coordination with clients, site engineers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotations and tenders after conducting detailed site surveys and assessments.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for projects based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; attend meetings to discuss project scope, progress, and requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers to produce accurate job progress reports and monitor ongoing work.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project cost estimates.
• Support project management teams in evaluating project changes, variations, and additional cost implications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Accreditation – G+1 Steel Constructions Contracting / Building Contracting (preferred).
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Minimum 2 year of proven experience in the UAE construction industry (preferably in structural steel and civil works).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
