Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, reviewing technical documents, and supporting the tendering and bidding process. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Review tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, and project scope.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Support the tender submission process within deadlines.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Maintain estimation records and project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Identify potential project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant field).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimation or related engineering field.
• Knowledge of estimation methods, BOQ preparation, and tendering processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with local market rates and supplier coordination.
• Experience in construction, MEP, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of project costing and budgeting.

Working Conditions

• Office-based role with occasional site visits.
