Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

LITCO Industries LLC is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for steel, metal, and aluminium fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have strong GCC experience in tendering, cost estimation, and project evaluation, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and technical drawings.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel, structural steel, metal, and aluminium fabrication projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, production, and project teams for technical clarifications.
• Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and tender documents.
• Maintain estimation records and project cost databases.
• Attend client meetings and tender clarification sessions when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in estimation for steel, structural steel, metal, or aluminium fabrication projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in architectural metal works, structural steel, and aluminium façade projects.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, tendering procedures, and local market rates.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
