Job Description
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work related to firefighting systems

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for:
Fire sprinkler systems
Fire hose reel & hydrant systems
FM-200 / NOVEC / CO₂ / Clean agent systems
Fire pumps & pump rooms - Coordinate with design, sales, and procurement teams to obtain technical and commercial inputs
- Identify cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with NFPA, UL, FM, UAE Civil Defense requirements
- Prepare technical submittals, pre-bid clarifications, and tender queries
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Support post-tender clarifications and value engineering activities
- Maintain estimation databases, cost norms, and pricing history
- Assist project teams during handover with cost breakdowns and assumptions
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in estimation of firefighting / fire protection systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, local Civil Defense regulations, and international standards
- Experience in GCC projects preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools/software
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
