Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimation Manager to lead our pre-construction and tendering processes for high-value projects. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for cost control, comprehensive market knowledge, and robust leadership skills to drive successful bid submissions and ensure project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the technical and commercial evaluation of tenders and RFPs.
• Approve final estimates, including direct and indirect cost breakdowns, pricing sheets, and technical submissions.
• Identify potential project risks and propose cost-saving or value engineering solutions.
• Guide the estimation team through quantity take-offs, scope analysis, and bid proposal development.
• Coordinate with Planning, MEP, Procurement, QHSE, and Cost Control departments to ensure integrated and timely tender submissions.
• Negotiate with key suppliers and subcontractors to enhance bid competitiveness.
• Represent the company in client and consultant meetings, both pre- and post-tender.
• Ensure all estimations, qualifications, and clarifications are documented and submitted in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in estimation with a leading contracting firm.
• Extensive knowledge of tendering procedures, cost control, and contract analysis.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in estimation software, MS Office, and digital documentation tools.
• Familiarity with international engineering and construction standards (e.g., ASME, British Standards).
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
