Estimation Manager – Fit-Out Projects

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager with a strong background in interior fit-out and turnkey projects to lead the estimation and tendering function. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of commercial, residential, hospitality, and high-end interior projects, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and lead a team of estimators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete estimation and tendering process for fit-out projects from pre-tender to contract award
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, take-offs, and pricing for interior works including:
• Gypsum & drywall systems
• Joinery & custom furniture
• Flooring, ceilings, finishes, and decorative works
• MEP coordination related to fit-out scope
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract conditions to identify risks and opportunities
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, and subcontractors for accurate pricing
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and conduct commercial evaluations
• Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profit margins and cost control
• Prepare value engineering proposals and alternative solutions where required
• Lead tender clarification meetings and post-tender negotiations
• Maintain and update cost databases, rate libraries, and benchmarking tools
• Mentor and manage the estimation team, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 10–15 years of proven experience in the interior fit-out industry ONLY
• Strong experience in UAE/GCC fit-out projects (commercial, hospitality, residential)
• Excellent knowledge of fit-out materials, construction methods, and market rates
• Strong understanding of contractual and commercial aspects of fit-out works
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Skills

• UAE market supplier & subcontractor network
• Experience with high-value and fast-track fit-out projects
• Arabic language is an advantage
