Estimator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for maintenance, fit-out, and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will analyze drawings, specifications, and site conditions to support competitive and profitable project bidding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for maintenance, fit-out, and renovation works

• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents

• Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, MEP, and finishing works

• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams

• Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals

• Monitor project costs and support variation pricing

• Maintain cost databases and pricing records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field

• Minimum 2–5 years experience as an Estimator in maintenance, fit-out, or renovation projects

• Strong knowledge of materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

• Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software

• Good communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fast-track maintenance works

• Knowledge of UAE market rates and suppliers

• Ability to handle multiple tenders under tight deadlines
