Job Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for understanding and evaluating information that is provided to you to cost, estimate, and suggest pricing on quotes for products to customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review and evaluate cost estimates in timely manner.
  • Communicate with partners and team members regarding new and current projects.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provide detailed and accurate work based on information from internal staff.
  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory, facility food safety, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs) policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to operate a wide variety of standard office equipment proficiently, such as a computer and keyboard, calculator, telephone, photocopiers, scanner, etc.
  • Must have associate or bachelor’s degree or proven experience as estimator in a similar position.
  • Must be analytical.
  • Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to comprehend and follow detailed instructions without constant supervision.
  • Must have the ability to evaluate, assess and make decisions.
  • Must possess typing skills and computer skills.
  • Must be able to work with personnel both in the department and outside the department (sales, customer service, production, art department, etc.) under pressure situations
  • Must be able to work under stress deadlines.
  • Must have excellent communication skills to convey production deadlines, order specifications and pricing to Customer Service.
  • Position requires long periods of sitting; intermittent standing, reaching, bending and filing. Must be able to lift approximately 10-20 lbs.
  • Must be able to work independently without direction for substantial periods of time.
