PTWL is seeking an experienced Estimator – Landscaping Projects with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and financial control from tender stage through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quantity take-offs, payment certifications, and cost forecasts from tender/pitch stage through project completion.
- Perform quantity take-offs in accordance with approved methods of measurement from drawings for subcontractor evaluation, client payment applications, and material procurement.
- Prepare and submit monthly payment applications to clients.
- Prepare, price, and submit variation orders for client approval.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and project specifications.
- Develop new rates for non-tender items and additional scope of work.
- Prepare subcontractor packages for specialized scopes of work.
- Float enquiries to suppliers and manufacturers; conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
- Finalize subcontractors within the approved project budget.
- Prepare payment certificates, variation statements, and final accounts based on executed works.
- Forecast and monitor project costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Prepare monthly progress and cost reports for management review.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience working in landscaping companies or similar construction roles.
- Strong experience in quantity take-offs (mandatory).
- Familiarity with project management processes.
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.
- Strong typing, editing, and data organization skills.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant field.
