About Us

RICS is the global professional body for the Built and Natural Environment. With over 140,000 members in nearly 150 countries, we set internationally recognised standards, support trusted professional development, and advocate for the profession on the world stage. Our work helps shape resilient communities, sustainable development, and informed decision making - from city skylines to green spaces.

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and organised Events Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Market Director MEA, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of high quality knowledge and competence events across the region, both digital and face-to-face.

This is a hands-on role that blends operational delivery with stakeholder engagement. You’ll help bring together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to share insights that shape the future of the built environment.

Dubai is a strategic hub for RICS’s regional engagement, offering proximity to major developments across the Gulf, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s transformation agenda under Vision 2030. Through impactful events, you’ll help convene thought leaders and practitioners whose work influences sustainable development and professional standards across borders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver events in line with RICS’s product delivery framework, ensuring consistency and quality across formats and channels.

  • Manage delegate bookings, joining instructions, and event enquiries.

  • Oversee venue selection and management, including negotiations and logistics.

  • Set up and host digital events using appropriate platforms and tools.

  • Coordinate technical production and support, including equipment and staffing.

  • Manage speaker logistics, including briefings, travel, presentations, and on-the-day support.

  • Represent RICS onsite, welcoming delegates, sponsors, and speakers, and ensuring smooth event execution.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to fulfil sponsorship and partnership obligations.

  • Provide post-event reporting, including budget reconciliation, engagement metrics, and feedback analysis.

  • About You

You are an adaptable event professional with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences.
You bring structure to complex projects, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure nothing is missed - from initial planning to post-event reporting.

You’ll be successful in this role if you can demonstrate:

  • Experience managing end to end event delivery, including logistics, stakeholder coordination, and technical setup.

  • Examples of how you’ve kept multiple projects on track, met deadlines, and maintained attention to detail under pressure.

  • Familiarity with digital platforms and tools used to streamline event planning and delegate engagement.

  • A methodical approach to workflows, with evidence of how you’ve improved processes or introduced efficiencies.

  • The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.

  • You are fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.

  • Rewards and Benefits

RICS offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and professional growth. These include private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, and access to wellbeing resources. You’ll also be part of a global organisation committed to professional excellence and continuous development.

    Equal Opportunity Employer
RICS is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and will support reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process. Candidates must have the right to work in the UAE.
How to Apply Please ensure your application clearly demonstrates how your experience supports the requirements of the role.

Candidates must already reside in the UAE and hold a valid Emirates ID and Residency Permit. RICS will sponsor the Employment Visa for the successful candidate, in accordance with UAE labour law.
