Executive (Air Operations)

The Executive Air Operations is responsible for handling day-to-day air export and import operations,

ensuring smooth coordination with airlines, clients, and internal teams. The role demands frequent interaction

with airline staff, handling critical documentation, and visiting airports for submission, verification, and

follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate directly with airlines for booking, cargo space, and real-time shipment status.
• Prepare and validate error-free documentation for exports/imports, ensuring full compliance.
• Act as first point of escalation with airlines, customs, and ground handlers.
• Visit airports regularly for document submission, cargo release, and urgent issue resolution.
• Track cargo movement end-to-end and provide proactive updates to clients.
• Support finance with reconciliations, billing disputes, and credit note closure.
• Generate MIS reports, support audits, and maintain high data accuracy.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, procedures, and documentation.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks under pressure.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills with airlines and authorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently to airports and airline offices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably with specialization in Logistics/International Trade).
• 1 - 4 years of experience in Air Cargo/Logistics operations.
• Knowledge of DG shipments and IATA regulations will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,738.98 - ₹33,783.69 per month
