National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) is the world’s largest association of Christian communicators, representing organizations reaching millions across traditional and digital media. NRB equips and supports its members through training, resources, and advocacy to ensure the Gospel is communicated freely and effectively. As a nonpartisan, international association, NRB promotes biblical truth, media excellence, and the defense of free speech across all forms of Christian media.
Our headquarters is located in Washington, D.C. near Capitol Hill, which keeps us closely engaged with Congress, the FCC, the courts, and the Executive Branch on issues affecting Christian media. We have a secondary office in Nashville, TN.
Position Summary:
The Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO serves as the primary administrative partner and gatekeeper for the CEO's office in this dynamic, mission-driven organization. This high-visibility role requires outstanding written and verbal communication skills to represent the CEO and NRB professionally to members, stakeholders, board members, government officials, media partners, and the broader Christian communications community. The successful candidate will oversee all administrative activities for the CEO's office, ensuring seamless operations, confidentiality, and alignment with NRB's values and strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in executive support considered.
- 3+ years of experience providing high-level administrative support to a C-level executive (CEO/President), preferably in a nonprofit, trade association, ministry, or communications-related organization.
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to compose professional correspondence, edit documents, and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, synthesize information, and deliver results under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom); experience with association management software a plus.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality; alignment with evangelical Christian values and NRB's mission to advance the Gospel through media.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to occasionally travel or work flexible hours to support events and deadlines.
- Applicant should be a mature Christian professional, committed to faith and full alignment with NRB’s, Mission, Statement of Faith, and Code of Ethics.

Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience in a faith-based or religious nonprofit organization.
- Knowledge of the Christian media landscape, broadcasting, or trade association operations.
- Knowledge of the Christian political and cultural issues landscape.
Responsibilities:
Liaison & Relationship Management
- Act as a professional representative of the CEO and NRB, building positive relationships with members, board members, government contacts, and industry partners.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitors, screening and prioritizing as appropriate.
Communication Excellence
- Draft, edit, and proofread high-level correspondence, emails, reports, speeches, proposals, and other materials on behalf of the CEO, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with NRB's mission and tone.
- Serve as a key point of contact for written and verbal communications, responding promptly and courteously to inquiries from members, donors, partners, media, and the public.
- Prepare briefing materials, agendas, talking points, and follow-up summaries for meetings and events.
- Assist with logistics for board meetings, executive committee sessions, and key association events as needed.
- Support CEO and Chief of Staff-led projects, initiatives, and special events, including research, preparation of materials, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Executive Support & Calendar Management
- Manage the CEO's complex and active calendar, including scheduling internal/external meetings, board/committee calls, travel, speaking engagements, and NRB events (e.g., annual Christian Media Convention).
- Prioritize commitments, anticipate needs, and resolve scheduling conflicts to maximize the CEO's productivity and effectiveness.
Office Oversight & Administrative Management
- Oversee all administrative activities for the CEO's office, including managing workflows, tracking action items, maintaining confidential files (digital and physical), and ensuring efficient information flow.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, logistics, accommodations, and expense reporting.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with the highest discretion, including board-related communications and strategic initiatives.
**This role requires availability during regular business hours.
