Executive Director - Mall Operations

The Executive Director – Mall Operations will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational efficiency, and profitability of the shopping malls under their management. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and deep understanding of retail and F&B operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, tenant satisfaction, and footfall increase.
  • Oversee daily mall operations, including retail, F&B, entertainment, security, facilities management, and customer service.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of senior managers and operational staff.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants, investors, government authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive marketing, events, and promotional activities to enhance mall visibility and attract target audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
  • Implement advanced technology and innovation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of senior leadership experience in mall operations, preferably in the UAE.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale shopping malls or retail complexes in UAE.
  • Strong financial management, business development, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws, retail regulations, and market trends.
  • Ability to drive innovation, enhance guest experiences, and deliver measurable business results.
