Job Purpose:

Oversee all Information Technology functions across the organization and lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the effective management of the company’s technology operations, including the implementation of new IT systems, policies, and digital solutions that support business objectives and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all technology operations across the organization, including infrastructure, systems, and network security, and evaluate performance against established goals.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, procedures, and systems to support the strategic direction set by executive management.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments and determine their technology needs in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Direct the planning, acquisition, and deployment of efficient and cost-effective technology equipment, platforms, and software solutions.
  • Monitor the utilization of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality, efficiency, and business continuity.
  • Identify the need for technology upgrades, new configurations, or replacement systems, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with IT managers and supervise technical teams, including engineers, system specialists, technicians, and other IT professionals, providing leadership and direction.
  • Manage the IT budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure effective allocation of resources in line with approved plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers, and support the negotiation of cost-effective contracts and service agreements.
  • Align IT risk management practices with IT productivity goals and broader enterprise risk management frameworks.
  • Optimize and redesign enterprise processes through innovative IT solutions that enhance efficiency, control, and service delivery.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and major system implementation projects to modernize the organization’s technology landscape.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, availability, and scalability of enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Establish effective governance, compliance, business continuity, and cybersecurity controls across all IT functions.
  • Support the development of the IT team by aligning project assignments, where possible, with team members’ professional strengths and career interests.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend solutions that can improve operational effectiveness and organizational performance.


Candidate Profile:


The ideal candidate is a seasoned technology executive with a strong track record in IT leadership, digital transformation, enterprise systems management, and operational governance. This individual should possess the strategic vision to shape technology direction, along with the operational discipline to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective IT service delivery.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the same or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in the analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, including hardware, software, infrastructure, and networks.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and controlling information technology budgets.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide IT operations within complex and structured environments.
  • Exposure to IT governance, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and vendor management is strongly preferred.
