Executive Officer - Costing

We are a manufacturing company which exports globally. We are in the quest of a young cost accountant who is an advanced Excel user. The prospective candidate should be having the below qualifications.

• CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate
• A good command of Advanced EXCEL.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience and articleship training.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Record and monitor actual costs related to production, raw materials, labor, and overheads.

2. Reconcile material consumption data with store issue records, production output, and ERP entries.

3. Identify and report discrepancies between recorded consumption and physical movement, supporting correction entries as needed.

4. Compare actual costs with standard and report variances.

5. Analyze cost fluctuations and identify reasons for deviations.

6. Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly cost accounting reports, including standard vs. actual variances and margin analysis.

7. Work with production, stores, and procurement teams to validate consumption data.

8. Ensure proper allocation of costs across departments and cost centers.

9. Lead or support monthly/quarterly physical stock counts for raw materials, WIP, and FG.

10. Liaise with production, stores, purchase, and planning teams to validate data accuracy.

11. Participate in monthly and annual physical stock verification exercises for raw materials.

12. Analyze job-wise, product-wise, and customer-wise profitability using actual cost data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
