Job Description – Executive Procurement (F&B & Retail)

Role Objective:
To manage end-to-end procurement of Food & Beverage and Retail consumables, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely availability, quality compliance, and smooth operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and procure Food & Beverage items, retail merchandise, consumables, packaging materials, and services from approved local and regional vendors.
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, hygiene, and brand standards.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure alignment with commercial terms, quality parameters, shelf life, and operational requirements.
  • Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved indent and budget.
  • Prepare and verify Goods Received Notes (GRN) for F&B and retail supplies in coordination with stores and operations teams.
  • Maintain inventory at optimum levels, ensuring FIFO/FEFO (First Expiry First Out) compliance, especially for perishable items.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
  • Handle daily operational procurement needs, including demand planning, order placement, follow-ups, and delivery coordination.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery to avoid stock-outs during peak operational hours.
  • Address and resolve vendor-related issues related to supply shortages, quality deviations, damages, billing discrepancies, and service concerns.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance based on quality consistency, delivery timelines, pricing, and service levels.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support high-volume sales, seasonal demand, promotions, and short lead-time requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, statutory requirements, and internal procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with F&B Operations, Retail, Stores, Finance, and Audit teams for smooth procurement and payment processing.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc procurement or operational duties as assigned by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
