Executive / Sr. Executive Business Development

  • Assist in implementing business development plans to support customer base expansion and market presence.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings with targeted and existing customers to develop business opportunities.
  • Collect overseas market and business information and share it with relevant internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their requirements and providing timely support.
  • Support identification of new markets, business opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and submit basic sales activity reports and forecasts to the management.
  • Research potential customers and actively pursue new business leads.
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage client queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support new business acquisition while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Assist in managing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Update CRM with accurate details of client visits, communications, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with and support senior BDMs in sales activities and related matters.
  • Liaise with operations team to resolve shipment-related customer issues.
  • Assist in negotiating rates with carriers when required or in urgent situations.
  • Support the credit control team in payment follow-ups and recovery processes.
