Experienced** Bookkeeper

Job Summary
Looking for a detail oriented, organized and experienced Book Keeper for our two-location dental office and real estate company. This position will require the employee to be physically present in office with a small amount of allowance for remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accurate financial records using QuickBooks for dental offices and real estate buildings and providing them to our accountant on a monthly and/or quarterly basis. This includes journal entries, account analysis and account reconciliation.
  • Efficiently monitor and analyze cash flow.
  • Handle tax-related documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Post and reconcile all bank accounts and credit card activity.
  • Vendor bill reconciliation and payments which includes calling vendors to discuss account differences, payment arrangements and returns/refunds.
  • Customer (Real Estate Tenants only) billings and receivables with assistance on new and renewal of leases.
  • Reconcile monthly dental account software with QuickBooks.
  • New Employee onboarding for payroll and 401k.
  • Ensure all bookkeeping activities adhere to GAAP standards and best practices in technical accounting.

Experience/Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Professional Certification (Certified Bookkeeper) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong experience with general ledger reconciliation, exceptional attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
