Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple external audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to audit teams and clients.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Identify and assess audit risks and develop appropriate audit strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of audit reports and high-quality client service.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit managers and senior auditors.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards, laws, and regulations and ensure proper implementation.
- Ensure adherence to internal quality control standards and firm policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum 10–15 years of external audit experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing large audit engagements and teams.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong client relationship management experience.
