FabCAD Modular BIM Designer

We are seeking a skilled FaBCAD Modular BIM Designer with a strong background in modular fabrication and MEP coordination. The role focuses on developing high-quality BIM models and fabrication-ready drawings for modular and offsite construction projects, ensuring seamless integration between structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models and fabrication drawings using FaBCAD and related BIM tools for modular and offsite construction.
• Produce shop drawings, assembly drawings, and GA drawings aligned with fabrication and installation requirements.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and production teams to ensure clash-free, buildable designs.
• Integrate modular systems such as HVAC modules, pipe racks, skids, supports, and prefabricated assemblies.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify design gaps and propose value engineering solutions.
• Support standardisation of modular components and families for efficient production.
• Liaise with fabrication, procurement, and site teams to resolve design and constructability issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, BIM standards, and relevant local and international codes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP, or related discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience in modular BIM design & FabCAD detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM platforms such as Revit, Tekla, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of modular construction methodologies, MEP systems, and fabrication processes.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, data center, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
