Facilities Maintenance Engineer

  • Monitor all phases of maintenance and development projects for the Corporation's buildings, facilities, and affiliated ambulance station buildings, ensuring contractors' compliance with approved timelines, specifications, and technical standards.
  • Receive all maintenance-related complaints and reports and formally issue work orders to contractors in accordance with approved policies and the direct supervisor's directives.
  • Provide rapid response and effective solutions to address challenges, emergencies, and major breakdowns affecting the Corporation's buildings and facilities.
  • Conduct site visits to all maintenance projects to ensure quality of work and compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
  • Assess the Corporation's maintenance needs, prepare project documentation and plans, analyze technical proposals, and evaluate contractors' capability to execute projects.
  • Contribute to the development of facilities and building maintenance policies and procedures in line with international best practices.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget for maintenance and renovation projects of the Corporation's facilities and ambulance stations.
  • Supervise operation and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems, including HVAC systems of all types (ducted, chiller, split units).
  • Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical generators, backup generators, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
  • Supervise operation and maintenance of fire protection, alarm, and safety systems.
  • Supervise operation and maintenance of water pumps, water supply, and drainage systems.
  • Oversee operational cleaning services for internal and external buildings and facilities.
  • Conduct field inspections to ensure proper workflow and monitor outsourced service providers' performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Master's degree in Engineering Management or Project Management.

Required Experience
  • Master's degree holders: Minimum 9 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's degree holders: Minimum 11 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent.
