THE WORK

Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Lead the Maintenance Team - Supervise internal staff and external contractors across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and general maintenance) to construct, maintain, and repair utility systems, buildings, and equipment.

Prioritize & Forecast Work - Develop and maintain a preventive‑ and corrective‑maintenance schedule, forecast needs, and allocate labor, materials, and equipment to meet all planned tasks.

Coordinate Installations & Repairs - Oversee the end‑to‑end process for equipment installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work with all facilities groups to guarantee that projects and production activities are performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Train & Mentor Staff - Provide hands‑on training, coaching, and performance feedback to technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and expertise.

Data‑Driven Decision Making - Analyze machine performance and maintenance data to prioritize repairs, optimize equipment uptime, and drive cost‑effective solutions.

Monitor Productivity & Provide Feedback - Track employee productivity metrics, deliver constructive feedback, and communicate performance trends to management.

Schedule Management - Create, maintain, and adjust the employee work schedule to align with operational demands and preventive‑maintenance requirements.

Health & Safety Compliance - Enforce all safety policies, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal health‑and‑safety regulations.

Basic Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must possess 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
Must be capable of communicating with all levels of management.
Must be able to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge and use of preventative/predictive maintenance technologies and applications.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be capable of communicating with vendors and customers.
Blueprint reading and project scheduling familiarity.
Team building and team engagement skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
