Facilities Maintenance Technician - II

DEPARTMENT:

Commercial Services

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

Part Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly

GENERAL OVERALL PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, facility inspections, and repairs, to maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs advanced maintenance tasks including troubleshooting electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
2. Diagnoses problems and determines appropriate corrective action.
3. Maintains facility cleanliness and safety.
4. Completes assigned work orders.
5. Uses maintenance tools safely.
6. Reports maintenance issues to supervisor.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong knowledge of commercial facility maintenance including HVAC, Plumbing, And electrical.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

3 - 5 years general maintenance experience.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or Equivalency

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a MEDIUM job (exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly).
