We are seeking a qualified and experienced Facilities Supervisor with a strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) background to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all building systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising technical staff, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
A valid Qatar driving license is required for site visits and coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily maintenance operations related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works to minimize downtime.
  • Lead a team of technicians, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for specialized services and ensure work meets company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and system performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support project execution, renovation, and installation works involving MEP systems.
  • Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance operations.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and breakdowns to minimize disruption.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in MEP maintenance or facilities supervision (preferably in commercial, residential, or industrial environments).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Proven experience leading a technical team.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and asset management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple sites or projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
  • Valid driving license is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Experience with sustainability and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of civil/structural maintenance.
