Facility Manager

Position: Facility Manager

Experience: 7 to 10 years in a related field (Must have GCC experience)

Complete Package: QAR 12,000

Driving License: Must possess a valid Qatar Driving License

Position Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of company facilities. This role ensures that the workplace meets the needs of employees, complies with regulatory requirements, and provides a safe, secure, and productive environment. The Facility Manager will oversee facility operations, vendor contracts, budgeting, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and supervise the daily operation and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure reliability of facility assets.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain proper records of facility inspections, work orders, and equipment history.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws, environmental regulations, fire safety codes, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, safety drills, and evacuation procedures.
  • Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Maintain updated licenses, permits, and certifications for the facility.
  • Manage third-party service providers, including cleaning, catering, pest control, landscaping, and security.
  • Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Control costs by monitoring utility consumption and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
  • Process and approve purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on facility expenditures and performance.
  • Supervise facility staff and allocate responsibilities effectively.
  • Work closely with HR and Admin to address employee facility-related concerns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior management regarding facility-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of proven experience in facility management, building operations, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 per month
