Job Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment. The role includes managing housekeeping, security, utilities, vendors, assets, and compliance while ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations

  • Manage day-to-day facility operations including housekeeping, security, utilities, and maintenance.
  • Ensure proper functioning of infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace standards.

Maintenance Management

  • Plan and oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repairs and services.
  • Maintain records of AMC, service schedules, and equipment logs.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage vendors for housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other services.
  • Ensure service quality, SLA adherence, and timely payments.
  • Negotiate contracts and control operational costs.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Implement workplace health and safety policies.

Manpower & Administration

  • Manage facility staff and support teams.
  • Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance.
  • Coordinate with HR for manpower requirements and disciplinary matters.

Inventory & Asset Management

  • Maintain inventory of consumables, tools, and assets.
  • Track asset movement, usage, and lifecycle.
  • Prevent loss, misuse, and damage of company property.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and management.
  • Handle facility-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Vendor and manpower management experience.
  • Knowledge of safety and statutory compliance.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting).

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (Facility Management, Engineering preferred).

Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in Facility / Administration / Operations Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
