Facility Manager

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Hygiene Management

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations across campus, classrooms, hostels, labs, and common areas.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Monitor housekeeping staff performance and ensure timely completion of tasks.

2. Maintenance & Repair Works

• Oversee all maintenance activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and minor civil works.
• Manage toilet maintenance and ensure continuous cleanliness and functionality.
• Coordinate and supervise painting, whitewash, and renovation activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of any repair or infrastructure-related issues.

3. Transport Management

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and upkeep of all college buses, vans, and transport vehicles.
• Ensure timely painting, repair, and renewal of all vehicles.
• Coordinate transport schedules and ensure safe operations.

4. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Liaise with external contractors for repairs, maintenance, painting, and housekeeping services.
• Ensure that vendors meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

5. Planning & Preventive Maintenance

• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance plans for buildings, classrooms, hostels, utilities, and vehicles.
• Plan periodic painting, whitewashing, and repair schedules in advance.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work schedules, and service reports.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of campus facilities to identify improvement areas.

7. Team Management

• Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and transport teams.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure smooth team operations.
