Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee our mattress manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, maintaining quality standards, optimizing productivity, and managing a large workforce effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and statutory regulations.
• Lead and mentor factory staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Monitor and maintain product quality standards in line with company benchmarks.
• Prepare and manage factory budgets, cost controls, and productivity reports.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 7–12 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in consumer goods, furniture, or mattress/foam industry.
• Proven track record in managing mid-to-large scale manufacturing facilities.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and quality management systems.
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
