Our new production unit started in Musiri - Trichy Dist.

Post: Factory Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations

• Plan, organize, and control daily factory operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery.

Quality Control

• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Implement quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.

Maintenance & Equipment

• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
• Ensure minimal downtime and efficient machine performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.

Manpower Management

• Manage workforce planning, shift allocation, and productivity.
• Train, guide, and evaluate supervisors and shop-floor staff.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive work culture.

Cost & Inventory Control

• Control production costs, wastage, and material consumption.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with purchase and stores departments.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, factory acts, and labor laws.
• Implement safety procedures and conduct regular audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/industry regulations.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Purchase, and Logistics teams.
• Support management in strategic planning and process improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–15 years in manufacturing operations
• At least 3–5 years in a Factory / Plant Manager role
• Diploma in Engineering with extensive relevant experience may also be considered
• Master’s Degree (MBA / M.Tech / PGDM in Operations / Production Management)
• Certification or training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, ISO (9001/14001/45001) is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Factory Act, labor laws, safety, and statutory compliance
