Job Title: Factory Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Multan, Pakistan

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

Our client, a well-established organization in the chemical manufacturing industry , is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and oversee operations at their production facility in Multan.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in chemical plant operations, production management, safety compliance, and team leadership . The Factory Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce SOPs, GMP, ISO, EHS, and local regulatory requirements
  • Manage manpower planning, workforce productivity, and staff performance
  • Control raw material usage, inventory levels, and production costs
  • Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, QA, and senior management teams
  • Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and budgets to management

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 8–12 years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Factory Manager / Plant Manager role
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, plant safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven experience managing large teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ISO, GMP, and HSE standards
  • Familiarity with ERP/SAP or manufacturing systems
  • Exposure to process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
